Maria is trapped in a monotonous life and a crappy job. One night, as her work shift is ending, she is invited to a party. Tired and reluctant, she decides to join her friends for what seems to be another typical night at the disco. She puts on a pair of high heels and heads there, but luck is not on her side.
Her social anxiety and those high heels lead to a terrible accident in the nightclub’s toilets, leaving her in a critical state between life and death. At that very moment, her consciousness travels inside the body of a stray cat. Now, away from work and social responsibilities, she can live the life she has always dreamed of: a free life. Or so she believes...
Soon, she discovers that wildlife has its own rules, too. As a cat, she has seven lives and seven chances to find her path, but she still dies time after time—hit by a car, choking, poisoned, and even in a fight with a colony of cats. However, all of her lives have one thing in common: hunger always lurks. In her last cat life, she faces a dilemma: is it preferable to let yourself be tamed to avoid starving, or is it better to risk hunger for a free life?
What would you do?
